My guess is they plan on signing Keisel as a backup, moving Mclendon to the 5-tech, and drafting a player (Nix) to play the Nose. Or keeping Mclendon at the Nose and drafting Hageman as a 5-tech.
Hopefully the Jags gave him a ton of money, but I doubt it.
In any event, this forces the Steelers to improve. To call Hood below average is an understatement. For those that rely on ProFootballFocus, he was graded the second worst 3-4 DE in the league. I've said before, he's a hard worker, and seemingly a good guy, but not the most talented.
