Ben and the OC made Wallace a whole bunch of money.

Unfortunately for them, for MIA to realize any amount of return on Wallace, they have to put more resources (e.g. #1 pick) into that position (something they probably can't afford to do). You put Wallace next to a true #1 type, and he'll start doing things we remember.

Yeah. Sounds like a great investment, pay a WR like a top 5 in the NFL, then go find another #1 cause the first one can't do it alone.

The MIA GM should be fired on the spot...

Shoe when Wallace was so great, who was our true #1 type WR?

Nice to watch Wallace drop the game winning catch he had both hands on. However since there was someone closer than three feet to him not surprisingly he panicked and droped it. Worst FA signing in a long time. Glad he is the Dolphins problem and not ours.

Just watch that drop and the tough TD catch Brown made and that should settle any discussion of who the best WR is.

What is really nice is that his blunder helped us in the play off chase by dropping the Dolphins to 5-6 in the last Wildcard slot

Nah.. I watched that game as well and Wallace had 2 long catches, one was exactly like the AB catch.

The drop late in the game wasn't an easy catch but its one you would want a #1 to make.

Great win by the Panthers to help us out but Wallace was a problem vs them today. Still glad we didn't overpay for him but he didn't lose/blow that game.

Wallace wasn't a problem for Miami today. He played well. Even "true" #1s do drop the odd catch.
That said, today was not the norm -- he's generally disappeared over the season.

The long TD catch he made is the type of catch that we already knew he could make. He got behind the defender, who leapt at the ball and missed it. If he had to fend off the DB to get it, that is when we never see him make the play.

turned him around a couple times

im glad our offense is so good (esp early in the season) where we couldnt use a receiver who had stats like today 120 yards Rec and a TD
