Dee, i'm not looking for a fight.
I love my Steelers bretheren and hate seeing some of the things that go on on this board.

    I'm not ignoring anything.
It was reported by some in the Steelers organization that they would'nt be surprised if Ben seeked out a trade.
We as fans don't know what is actually said behind closed doors.
Ben looks like he despises Haley and it is evident when Ben walks to the sidelines.
It could have been the locker room guy for all we know.....LOL
The situation that occurred in 2010 with the Raiders was a totally different circumstance and we all know that, including Ben.
I will give you a link to a site where you can see how the cap situation is not as dire as you make it out to be...
Play along with me, we can figure this out for them....

I do not believe this website is right. The cap for 2014 is at the same it is this year. $123 million.

So if the cap stays the same then subtract 3.9 mil
By cutting those 4 players and extending Troy, i cleared up a ton of cap space.
I understand your concern, but trading your franchise QB for the unknown is something desperate teams might consider.
If we had a healthy O-line, i believe our record would be a lot different.

I also dont believe the numbers the Steelers are committed at are correct either. I've seen it at around $137 million towards 41 players.

We are currently at 11-14 the past year and half with our franchise QB. I dont think an unknown in this draft is as desperate as you see it. 11-14 is desperate.

A healthy O-line? Adams, Beachum, Gilbert, and Whimper are still unproven and continue to struggle in the NFL. Being healthy is not the issue with them.
