It was a reasonable move. How many would complain that the team wasn't doing anything if Mesko had stayed after his most recent performances?
Praise Allah!!!! This has been a long time coming. How bout replacing Paulson while we're at it for giving up the blocked punt and then almost getting the very next punt blocked again. He also had a chance to recover a fumble and messed that up too.
I don't understand how Paulson is still on this team?
He is useless, absolutely useless in the run game.

Butler was near the bottom of the league in most stats last year, and apparently the Steelers believed that he got worse in the cold weather.
Add to it that his father was bashing the Steelers on twitter, it appears that Drew Butler will be moving on with his life's work (or another NFL franchise).
