Patrick Peterson has won a good 3 to 4 games for AZ with punt returns for TD's. He tied the record with 4 punt returns for TD's his rookie year and has 12 INT's in 3 years... a whopping 7 in 2012.

No effing way they give him up...
We can only dream that he was the GM of the Cards so he could offer the Steelers that deal.

Take away Patrick Petersen and the Cards still have a legitimate defense. Add Ben and take away Petersen and the Cards have a chance to go to a Super Bowl.

Cards still have Jerraud Powers, Tyrann Mathieu, Tony Jefferson, Antoine Cason, and Javier Arenas. They are loaded in the secondary.

you laid out a great reason why AZ should keep their young guys and draft a QB this year.

you just said there are 6 QB's in this draft... if I'm AZ I use a pick on one of them.

Ok...who gives them a better chance of winning a Super Bowl next year?

One of those 6 or Ben Roethlisberger?

Or one of those 6 and Patrick Petersen or Ben Roethlisberrger and no Patrick Petersen?

neither will get them to a SB so they should keep the young guys and roll with a rookie.

BA has been pretty successful with the young QB's too.

That didnt answer the question. It was a which option gives them a better chance question? And considering they got to the Super Bowl with a 37 year old Kurt Warner, who many at the time thought was washed up, means you are clueless on this as well.

BA had Andrew Luck. There's no Andrew Luck's in this draft.

the answer is still neither... and Ben is not Kurt Warner. Ben isn't throwing timing routes and leading choir practice in the locker room.

You keep trotting out guys who don't play anything like Ben but I'm the clueless one? LOL...

There is little doubt in my head that a team like the Cardinals would give up a 1,2 and a quality player for Ben.

You may be right but when you see guys like Kellen Clemons, Branden Weeden, Mick Vick, Christian Ponder, starting in the NFL, and teams that feel as if they have gone as far as they can go with, Sam Bradford, Tony Romo, Jay Cutler, Matt Schaub,etc.etc......some team is going to throw a boat load at the Steelers if Ben were made available.
