    The Zoltan

Anyone tired of our punter yet? I didn't think we could get worse than last year, but somehow we managed. Zoltan is the worst. We shoulda kept Butler. Not doing something with Zoltan is gonna come back and bite us eventually.

Bad punts hurt us defensively as much as offensive turnovers.

He is horrible. I dont understand why we dumped Butler for this guy. We are 1 of 7 teams netting less than 40 yards per punt and are actually 31st out of 32 with a 37.2 net. If he were any good at all the Patriots wouldn't have dumped him. Rarely does it happen, but sometimes we can screw up big time in the front office along with the coaches.

I happened to be watching Brian Moorman's first game back in Buffalo. He stepped onto the field and received a huge standing ovation. The crowd went nuts for the guy. He then stepped up and put his first punt out of bounds inside the one. It was like a movie.

He has 12 punts this season, he is averaging 46.8 with an average return below 4 yards. He is known for his high booming punts, so long returns is not generally something you worry about with him...and we had no use for him.

I posted when it happened and I continue to believe it to be true - this was nothing more than Tomlin pretending he was doing something. It was change for change sake, not actually moving the team in a positive direction.

    They should call back Butler.

Already a 36 yarder, if he survives another game Colbert or Tomlin need to answer about this.

If Bill BellyChick gets rid of someone, usually it's for good reason.

    5 punts today for a 35.6 average.

I was in favor of the move originally, but he has been horrible. Got a lucky bounce (and perhaps a lucky call) on the punt downed on the 1, otherwise, he is terrible.

With an offense that is as putrid as what the Steelers are putting out there, they need a better punter...
