Thread: Boomer Esiason: Steelers Loss To Raiders Would Be ‘Unacceptable’

  1. #11
We often have trouble with the Raiders, but it usually seems like we are in the middle of a pretty good season and they knock the Steelers down. This time the Steelers go in a more desperate team so hopefully there is no chance of taking them lightly.

Boomer made sense. Good for him.
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

If the D can play like they did against RG III last season and the offense doesn't take a step back, we can win...

You know what the biggest issue is - NO team respects the Steelers and it's laughable to talk about anyone fearing them. Rookie QB's look at playing the Steelers D as a chance to turn the ship around, get stats, and a win. There is no concern whatsoever about facing a D that's even a little bit confusing or ferocious. At this point, teams can't wait to play the Steelers and their high school schemes.

It's a sad, sad day when you realize the NFL noobs are looking forward to playing the Steelers and getting a victory.

We scored right on our season average + We're soft against the run = We lose to the lowly Faiders.

    Unacceptable? Yes.

    Unexpected? Sadly, no.
