When I was 10 years old my family was over at North Park. My dad and I were tossing the football. A couple of other kids wandered over and asked if they could join. After a little bit more this huge guy comes over to join as well. Biggest dude I'd ever seen at that point. Lo and behold, it was Mean Joe Green!!! As a kid growing up in the Burgh, this was the greatest moment of my life to that point. Super nice guy. Friendly and just happened to be spending the day in the park with his family. Was and always will be one of my all time favorites!
