Eskimos cornerback and returner Joe Burnett has earned Gibsonís Finest CFL Special Teams Player of the Week honours for his performance in Mondayís Labour Day Classic in Calgary.

In addition to a 78-yard punt return in the second quarter that set up an Eskimosí touchdown, Burnett also returned three additional punts for 13 yards and a kickoff for 24 yards.

Last season, he recorded a team and league-leading six interceptions for 167 yards and two touchdowns and was named a Western Division All-Star and CFL All-Star.

Football takes a lot of effort and its better to spread that effort out over more players, leaving the starters with more energy at the end of the game.
Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, hear the lamentations of their women.
