I don't think that was ever his true role anyway. What he has done is proven he will fight and convert short yardage situations.

Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, hear the lamentations of their women.

He can also catch the ball effectively...

And he has proven that he can start in a pinch...

Though, you don't want the season resting on his shoulders alone...

He'll get the first carry. Then the running back by committee approach will commence as Redman and LSH will also get at least 5-10 carries each.

Wasn't Felix Jones and Mendenhall taken in the same draft year ?

Yes. Dallas took Jones one pick before we selected Mendenhall.

Says here that Tomlin said *Redman* is the starter: http://nflfromthesidelines.blogspot.com/

That should be the definitive answer, right?

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!

HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!

Like I said before, he'll start but only get about 10 total carries in the RB by committee offense.

Perhaps even less since the Steelers may have a difficult time scoring and might be playing catch up in the 4th Q.

I remember being ELATED that Jones was such a stupid Razorback homer that he took Felix Jones leaving Mendenhall for us to take.
Who would have thought that in a few short years Mendenhall would be gone and that WE would wind up with Jones instead.

Guess our head coach is delusional then.

Regardless of who the starter is, this should be RB-by-committee, until Le'Veon Bellcow is ready to roll.

Does it really matter whether one guy rushes for 100 yards, or if we get 55 from Redman, 30 from Felix, and 15 from LSH?
