Agreed on the first three of those four. With the other talent that has emerged on the D-line, not sure we need to take any more risk with Mr. Hit-and-Run.

They kept 5 tight ends, really?

Spaeth will end up on IR soon, hopefully the full season IR. Miller can't play right now and Will Johnson also has a hamstring issue. One of the last cuts will be back soon.

plus he adds zero ST value.

    I'm fine with that one.
I'm fine with it too. I hate to see maybe the most talented pure runner on the roster go, but he made his bed a long time ago with his lack of toughness and urgency.

Haha, where are all the Carnell Lake will turn water (Hawthorne) into wine people? I like Carnell, but his exalted status is ridiculous here.

DWYER will never be anything but "potential" ... the kid has no heart. It was his job to lose.

"Hawthorne missed most of his rookie offseason program while rehabilitating a knee injury that also sidelined him into training camp at Saint Vincent College. He did get himself onto the field before the preseason ended and finished with two tackles."

My guess is that he'll show up on the practice squad.

Who is Isaiah Green? Didn't hear anything about him at CB this preseason.

Picked up Palmer on waivers in August. Guess he gets a paycheck for a couple of weeks...

Why would you be happy and excited that Hawthorne got cut? Why not root for the Steelers to find a guy who's rough but has a ton of potential that Lake can coach up? You are actively rooting against a Steelers coach. That sucks!!

Your sparring opponent loved Dwyer, sid. Maybe that has something to do with the Steelers cutting him loose. Wonder if that dude still think Dwyer will run for 1300 yards or whatever.
