    David Johnson V's Paulson

DJ has been undervalued and should make Paulson expendable. Paulson is so terrible blocking that in running downs the team added a new wrinkle and have to bring and extra OL to play the TE position. And when he's catching passes in traffic he has a bad case of the alligator arm. Let's hear all the posters giving DJ a bad name defend this chump.

David Johnson has been undervalued but let's give Paulson some time. He does have some pass receiving skills and I believe anything someone is deficient in can be improved, if you work at it. So I am supportive of Paulson and DJ.

Johnson sucks. Why you people insist on trying to praise him makes me sick.

No praise, but he's better than Paulson by a long shot.

DJ was garbage when we first got him. However, he has shown tremendous improvement. I haven't seen enough of him to know where he is at post injury. That said, it would be interesting to hear the rationale for putting Beachum in at TE. Beachum has now played 6 of 11 positions on offense. He could easily play FB in short yardage situations as well. That would make 7 of 11. Can he throw too? It does concern me that they may be counting on him to play the TE position with some regularity. For one, it may take him out of the running for starting at RT. He may be better than Gilbert. Plus, if one OL goes down to injury, he's the next one up. He won't have the fresh legs you'd like to have to spell someone. Then again, he's warmed up. As of now, he's our only quality backup OL. I really hope that the coaching staff sees great potential in some other backup OL currently on the roster. I'm not seeing it right now. I'm optimistic for the season, but the unproven OL with the lack of depth concerns me greatly.

They both suck. Like choosing between the chair and the gas chamber.

But this is what happens when a golf coach runs the offense. No creativity, no use of their skill players, nothing.

I expect Ben to blow up at Haley/Art sometime around week 6.

The way they are using him is a sin. Take a competitor like Ben and cut his balls off, all because he's becoming BIGGER than the Rooney name.

His ability should be praised, instead it's met with scorn from his own owner.

    Disgusting.

Because we have to RUTM ever hand off, we have to run like we did 40 years ago.

Haley's offense appeals to the Yinzers from 40 years ago. The simple minded who still wish this was 1975.

Just the way Art II wants it.
