Depends on severity and how much pain a player could endure. He will have discomfort for a long time the following day. He will have to flex his foot to knock the pain out. I suffered a foot sprain. I missed 1 week but I was an OL. I had the thing wrapped tighter than 10 lbs of sausage in a 2lb bag. I had to endure the pain to play. It was 9 weeks until I could actually stand up after being off my feet for awhile and not limp for the first 10 steps. You put that on a RB...He will be a average RB making himself a target and the coaching staff won't let him on the field until he shows no effects.

Ahhh, YES we do know the severity. It was announced yesterday after TWO...TWO different Doctors, the absolute BEST in the world said Bell's injury is NOT Lisfranc related at all. It is NOT Torn in anyway, shape or form. And surgery is obviously not needed. And I guarantee you that Bell will be back practicing by week 2 of the regular season, and will be getting PT in game 3, or game 4 at the latest!!

    Wanna bet ?...name your stakes!!

If they knew the severity the Doctors & Tomlin would know a timetable. Week 3 of the regular season is 5 weeks after injury & week 4 is 6 weeks. So did you change your mind or not think it through?

No. I am going by the fact that there is no time table cause Tomlin does not want to rush him back, and place any pressure on the kid to try and comeback before he is ready. But, I do know that after 3 days, Bell himself said the swelling is all but gone, and that 2 days ago, he couldn't put any pressure on his foot, but now he can, quite alot according to him. So that tells me that the 21 year olds body is doing its work. And that the Sprain is not all that bad. Now when he does comeback, you're right, no one knows totally for sure. Hell Bell may say he can practice and play in week 1...we don't know. But what we absolutely DO know is this...that the Injury he got in NO way will hinder him in the future. The NC Doctor, who is the world BEST Specialist at Foot Injuries said so. And he must know a thing or two more then you do son!

So your response points are ridiculous.

Found this on the web pretty easily. True or not, there was certainly talk about hiom being at the 265 mark:

But according to Rotoworld.com, Dwyer topped the scales at 265 pounds in the spring when he reported for OTAs

Nowhere did I say it will hinder him in the future kid. If football was about putting pressure on your foot he would be in good shape. When this NC Doctor who seems to be your daddy says anything that contradicts what I have said...You may have an argument. But...That didn't happen little man.

Ghost, Dwyer was weighed at the start of Camp...was 224 Lbs. Was run tested, like everyone is, came in according to Ed Bushchette at 4.45 in the forty. And as far as in the games, he has been one of the best RB's I have watched on ANY team. And thats with OUR Cruddy O-Line. If Dwyer is not our game 1 starter, then thats another reason to fire Tomlin IMHO!

Dwyer was big at OTA's. Pissed the FO and Tomlin off. They told him to get ready for the "Run test" at Latrobe, or else.

I think everyone can understand what that meant in it's own subtle way.

And thats with OUR Cruddy O-Line <---- Our line isn't that cruddy in run blocking. It's pass blocking thats the problem
Tomlin: Let's unleash hell and "mop the floor" with the competition.
