    In past years this was an issue, but under the new CBA, rookie salaries are essentially slotted (for all intents and purposes).

    My favorite quote form an article about Jarvis signing and Landry being the lone draft choice that is unsigned.

    Jones, a quarterback from Oklahoma taken in the fourth round, is expected to sign very soon. He and Jarvis Jones are not related.

    Technically they could be brothers from other mothers and both took their dad's name. But given Jarvy's dark complexion, Landry's mom woulda probably had to be Albino for this scenario to work.
