Yeah, I'm going to rush out and buy a couple of dozen pairs of $24 socks.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
I googled "jokes about socks". They were all pretty lame, except maybe (yeah, maybe) this one ..

call me crazy, but I really hope it works out well for the guy. Plax has been and is an easy target for some very visible blunders - but I find it hard to think badly of the guy. Besides, when his football career is over either this year or soon after - he's gotta find a way to make a living. I seriously doubt he has a future on ESPN. His transgressions only ever hurt one person, himself. I don't find that sufficient to hope for failure. I'd like plax to have a great year with the steelers, contribute to our success and then enjoy retirement with his family and whatever endeavors he participates in.
maybe i'm just getting soft in my old age.....
