The Dolphins would have loved to grab Menelik Watson after losing Jake Long in free agency, but unfortunately they got leapfrogged twice and no longer have that option. This pick was obtained from Indy in exchange for former 1st round CB Vontae Davis, so they could use this pick to help out at corner, where they also lost Sean Smith to free agency this offseason. Although they did sign Brent Grimes, who is a solid corner when healthy, there are still lingering questions about his health, so reinforcements are needed. There is a corner still available who is somewhat of a medical miracle himself. Projected as a possible high pick, this player nearly died a few months ago when he tore his inferior vena cava (which brings blood back to your heart) in a collision at practice. However, he was able to make it back to the point that he ran a tremendous 40 time at his pro day and thoroughly impressed all of the scouts in attendance.

The Miami Dolphins are proud to select:

    Houston CB D.J. Hayden

Denver is on the clock and will go ahead and pick a CB with their next draft pick. Considering the Ravens offense lit up the secondary in last year's playoff's, the Broncos can use some help at Corner.

With that said, the Broncos select:

    Blidi Wreh-Wilson from Connecticut

He was a 2nd team All Big East Selection in 2012 and had recorded 46 tackles, with one interception and nine passes defended.

    We welcome Blidi to Denver.

The New England Patriots select Terrance Williams WR Baylor.

Williams is a silky smooth outside the numbers receiver. He has good size which he uses to wall off corners and make acrobatic downfield catches. Williams is NFL ready and will thrive in the Patriots system.

In the interest of staying on schedule, I will select for Houston.

The highest rated player on the board is Jonathan Hankins DT Ohio State.

The Houston Texans select Jonathan Hankins.

Hankins is an immediate upgrade over Earl Mitchell or Shaun Cody (if he is resigned). Hankins next to J.J. Watt looks like a matchup nightmare for opponents and will allow Texans linebackers to run free.

The Atlanta Falcons select Jordan Poyer CB Oregon St. Poyer is a good punt returner and will give the Falcons help there as their return unit has not been the same since Weems left before last season. Poyer will also immediately compete for a starting CB job as both Brent Grimes and Dunta Robinson will not return in 2013. Poyer has good length for the position and good overall athleticism. Jordan excels at both man and off man coverage.

The Jacksonville Jaguars select Corey Lemonier DE Auburn.

The Jags briefly considered Sam Montgomery. But, the new regime emphasizes character. So, they chose Lemonier. The Jags feel Lemonier is very explosive and just scratching the surface of his potential.
