Mister Pittsburgh's Cure All Elixer Mock Draft

This is my final mock draft. I made two assumptions...one is that we will sign Ahmad Bradshaw or another veteran caliber RB. The second is that we let Manny Sanders go for the 3rd round pick...If this was our draft I would be very happy as we would be adding instant day one contributors, while also adding quality defenders into the pipeline to groom for next year on.....

    TE-CB-WR-FS-OLB-WR-ILB-RB-SS

1st Round: Tyler Eifert TE Notre Dame
2nd Round: Jordan Poyer CB Oregon State
3rd Round: Stedman Bailey WR West Virginia
3rd Round: Bacarri Rambo FS Georgia
4th Round: John Simon OLB Ohio State
5th Round: Ryan Swope WR Texas A&M
6th Round: Michael Mauti ILB Penn State
6th Round: Zac Stacy RB Vanderbilt
7th Round: Zeke Motta SS Notre Dame

UDFA: Cooper Taylor SS Richmond, Ray Graham RB Pittsburgh

Love that Mock. best one I've seen in awhile. Love your #1, 3a, 3b, 4 and 5 picks. Probably would go OL with #2 for someone like Barrett Jones. I would add Mike Shanahan out of Pitt as a UDFA.

Initially, in previous renditions, I did have OT Terron Armstead in the 2nd round but though Poyer would add great value at that draft slot. I wouldn't cry in my beer if we took a LT caliber OT in the 2nd. Barrett Jones would be nice as he can play all 3 line positions.

I still prefer the thought that you excel at one spot and do not have the flexibility to play multiple spots. The thought of having versatile guys is the reason our OL has been terrible.

Pretty good Mister P. A little light on the WR position if we lose Sanders, but I really like Swope. Especially in the 5th, I've seen some projecting him in 3-4 range.

Sorry overlooked Bailey in the 3rd. Nevermind

I am not a big fan of TE in Rd 1 especially at #17 but i won't be completely disappointed.

I would prefer someone like Josh Boyce or Marquise Goodwin over Ryan Swope...

I like rest of the draft though.

Thanks for the kind words. It was my best effort. Now cross your fingers we trade down, still get the players listed here, plus a few extra picks!

Why would you prefer a WR that had 26 catches for 340 yards and 3 TD's and ran a 4.27 40yds over someone that had 72 catches for 912 yards and 8 TD's and ran a 4.34 40yds?
