    AkronSteel's 2nd Mock Draft

    1) Kenny Vaccarro, S / Texas
    2) Robert Woods, WR / USC
    3) Le'Veon Bell, RB / Michigan State
    4) John Simon, OLB / Ohio State
    5) Zac Dysert, QB / Miami (OH)
    6) Nico Johnson, ILB / Alabama
    6) Demetrius McCray, CB/ Appalachian State
    7) JC Tretter, G-C / Cornell

A few changes from the first but really just attacking the same spots. This draft almost covers all our needs. If it worked out this way, I would be giddy.

Great effort. Just not sure we ned to use a #1 for a Safety since this draft is so deep at that position. I would still go with Tyler Eifert at #17.

That is a remarkably cogent and comprehensive mock draft whose foundational premises address the Steelers multitudinous deficiencies while providing substantive depth at several essential positions.

    Eifert!

My bad... Actually, i'd be very happy with that draft... I think Nico Johnson is going to be an NFL starter... and the team is obviously interested in Simon... and Bell.... And I really like Dysert...

Addresses many needs and has some quality finds (assuming they're still around where you've placed them... eg, Woods in 2nd, Bell in 3rd)...

Great Effort. I like the position targeted in the draft. Biggest drawback of the draft is top draft pick might not help Steelers in 2013...Steelers need immediate help especially with so many starters leaving in FA.

I am not sold on Kenny at 17. His lack of game changing plays is worrying. There is not a big drop off between 1st and 3rd Rd Safeties in this draft IMO. I think Steelers are going to draft Kenny. I just don't think he is a game changer.

Robert Woods may not be able to play for a year because of his injury. Steelers need a WR in this draft badly. One just cannot roll with AB84 and Sanders..

I like Bell. I would stay away from Nico ..too slow. John Simon does not impress me.

I think Steelers will be drafting a CB somewhere in this draft after K-Lew left.

lol. I get the sense we're going to see a lot of these from now until draft day.

I'm thinking that with the signing of Gradkowski as our new 2nd string QB and they'll probably bring Charlie back for another season, that we may need this extra draft pick for another position of need.

    5) Zac Dysert, QB / Miami (OH) I like this guy, but I'd use this pick elsewhere. How about that PSU ILB? I forget his name.

After the Steelers select all their draft picks and we see the above we'll know the Steelers hit it right in the draft and we all will be happy.

    Great Line MeetJoeGreen.
