    Just when I thought the F/O had given up, they go and save our 2013 season with a Matt Spaeth signing! Dan Rooney gave up on Ireland, but not the Steelers.

    I think you people read way too much into these signings.

    You act like the Steelers brought in David Johnson as our #1 FB prospect and Spaeth as the next great hope to replace Heath Miller.
    I highly doubt either got any significant signing bonus or large contracts.

    They are familiar camp bodies who have a chance to add depth in the case that no youngster emerges. Not a big deal.

    I agree with this. Just bargin priced depth. No big deal.

    Wow..another pathetic signing....Steelers love mediocre players on Offense and people wonder why Offense is ranked 21st??..You just cant make salad out of chicken ****.
