Spaeth May Be More Likely Former Bears TE

I would prefer Kellen Davis as a stop gap.

So we only have cap space for players like Speath. I'll tell ya Chadman K-Mart is almost looking good right now, seems were trying to put a team together shopping at the flea market.

Should have given Ben permission to talk contract with the Cards.

He then agrees to a contract.

    We then release him.

Then we make a trade for "future considerations" to get the draft picks from them.

If we are going to gut this team anyway, do it right.

Art II has ruined this team.

I never thought Spaeth was that good of a blocker...

"Spaeth received what might be a misleading grade from Pro Football Focus. Of the 62 graded tight ends, Spaeth ranked seventh overall. He caught only six passes for 28 yards and one touchdown, but PFF ranked him as the No. 1 run blocker for the position in the NFL and the 16th-best pass blocker. He is effective on the edge as a blocker and the Steelers know what he is capable of doing."

Steel Maniac's Time-Based Prediction: Lamar Jackson will be a bust and total flop in the NFL.

What Actually Happened: Lamar Jackson became the youngest two-time NFL MVP winner ever.

Everyone thinks Spaeth must be a good blocker because he is so tall. That might be true for an OT, but not for a TE. Low man wins the blocking war. He has a high center of gravity. He was basically as worthless here as he was in Chicago. Big deal; so he is 6-7. He is not a good receiver or blocker, period.

    As posted yesterday here: http://www.planetsteelers.com/forums/showthread.php/40243-Spaeth-Cut-now-available

If we get him on the cheap, why not let him come to TC.

He wasn't one of the guys who went paper-towel dispenser punching with Skippy, was he?

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!

HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!
