If the Steelers find a chronic knee problem that isn't a simple clean-out....I don't want him.
We just let one problem go in their eyes anyway, so instead of finding a solution They bring in another problem.
With our money issues we won't be able to sign a good FA back or one any better than we have so the draft is our best option imo.
Has everyone concocted a mutual head trauma injury on this board and in Pgh? Wells is garbage.
1.) He is always hurt.
2.) When he DID play last year, he racked up a 2.7 apc. That sucks.
3.) He sure smells of PED.
Yea, PED, you know me.

Signing Wells won't impact them drafting a RB. They will still draft a RB.
The stable we had last year is still here minus Mendy and it was? It is clear they need upgrades at RB and that number is at least +2. RBs in the draft are all over the board in hit and miss & round to production. They really need to get a RB here that has some type of NFL resume PLUS drafting one or two. It could be a Wells, a Bradshaw, a Phelix Jones....A body to compete. Given the cap situation...Bradshaw & Jones may be out of reach. Given what happened to Wells...He may be a good risk reward signee. He isn't going to get a big deal with limited to no gurnatees. You still draft a RB in the mid rounds. You let them battle through camp. Dwyer & Redman are on tenders. Redman will be 29. If Wells is beat out by Redman & Dwyer you cut him before the season starts. Makes alot of sense IF he has no chronic injury in that knee.
