Unless this is wrong, in 720+ opportunities of touching the football he didn't cough it up a single time. Maybe a change in scenery would help.....

where's the fumbles? i'm asusming you're referring to the sport-reference site...?? you're not looking at DEFENSE and fumbles are you? that chart indicates tackles and fumble recoveries.... i.e., after he fumbled and the other team picked it up, he had 3 tackles and zero forced fumbles...

You're right, after Willis McGahee went down he came in and did alright. But there's a lot of talk that he isn't self-motivated and won't give you the all out effort you would want as your #1 RB.

Didn't the Rams say the same thing about Bettis?

I don't remember TBH. Let's just say I would rather try to solve the RB situation thru the draft. Noshow has an ACL injury in the past as well. Not saying that's a deal breaker but something to consider.

Sounds familiar... My honest problem with him is he was smallish, not an espeically hard runner - it was totally based on speed (finding a seam and flying)... Im uber critical on RBs (I know the position best)... He's not terrible, but, not a guy I'd want as a starter. He's Reggie Bush, minus the jukey-elusivness, plus a few fumbles. Probably closer to Fast Willie P, but, a little less speed
