6 years in a row in the playoffs.

The Noll players began to leave and they couldn't win, 4 of 6 years at home with two 10 loss seasons and a 9 loss in that time span.

Then #7 showed up, and saved Bill Cowher's ***.
Did you look up the drafts and FA signings for both coaches yet? You know something...you never answer any question directly. You kind of remind me of Crash who will take any post and redirect it to to something completely different. Crash? Is that you? lol

Here's a site you should look at: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/

Tomlin has surpassed or is damn close to surpassing Cowher in the "bad drafts" arens in only 5 years. I don't think Tomlin has had a good free agent signing yet... Well, maybe Foote (a cowher player)

Cowher's biggest problem was the QB situation for all those years. That was no secret.

relax, tomlin wasnt hired because of his drafting ability

Yes he did but it was over how many years? And in Cowher's defense, he hit big on some mid-to-late round picks.

No, but under his own admission, he calls himself a "personnel junkie". I think he seriously needs to re-evaluate personnel input.

Mike Tomlin will be here a long time, he earned the FO confidence. In Mikes tenure the injuries killed his chances of getting more payoff wins, and another Lombardi.

As said here Cowher had some clunkers, losing to San Diego is still fresh in my mind. We were favored to win by a big margin, so Cowher had his warts too.

well, you outa know by know that anything that comes out of his mouth is rubbish.
coach speak, jibber jabber, using dumbass phrases like 'splash plays'. whatever you want to call it. it fools the naive and uninformed.
he's doing what he was hired for, nothing more. the sooner you realize what he is and why he was hired, the easier it is to except what the steelers are becoming

Who was on watch for the same thing for the 31 other teams that passed on him for 6 straight rounds.

1993: Figures
1994: Johnson
1996: Jamain Stephens
1997: Chad Scott
1999: Edwards

That's 5 of 8 number one picks to start Bill Cowher's career that were duds.

2nd round flops include Will Blackwell 1997, Jeremy Staat in 1998, and Scott Shields in 1999. So that's 3 of Cowher's first 8 second rounders who sucked. ThenR you can add later #2's like Alonzo Jackson (2003) and Ricardo Colclough (2004).

3rd round: Hastings, Stai, Conley, Witman, Wiggins, Vrabel, Chris Conrad, Kris Farris, Amos Zereoue, Kendrick Clancey, Hank Poteat.

That's 11 players in the 3rd round in 10 years of Bill Cowher football who hardly did anything for this team.

You need to pay attention. And stop re-writing history.
