I saw that Matt Barkely will meet with the Steelers. Don't think that it means anything, but interesting nonetheless. I believe it was in Peter King's MMQB.

I read where Arizona is very interested in Barkley. They must have first heard that the Steelers like him, so there is a backup source.

I think that is the best news I've heard so far. Really! Maybe the FO does have a clue.... Can't rely on Ben.

I agree with you that developing a young backup for Ben should be a priority, but not a first or second round priority.

Basically zero interestin o-line (except Cooper). Zero interest in TE.

WR, S, LB - No surprises there.

RB likely won't be BPA at #17. Thus far, it's looking like BPA between WR, S, LB... all positions of need (the steelers typical draft strategy especially in the 1st round.
Tomlin: Let's unleash hell and "mop the floor" with the competition.

Well they may want to meet with D Moore since he is having a terrible combine. I didn't think there was a chance in hell he would be there at #17. They say "hamstring" in his 4.95/40 - 1.69/10. 12 on the bench? Wow...He is looking like Warmack at the combine. Looks like Tarzan on tape...Works out like Jane.

only 12 reps on the bench press is totally unacceptable, no thanks...
Steel Maniac's Time-Based Prediction: Lamar Jackson will be a bust and total flop in the NFL.

What Actually Happened: Lamar Jackson became the youngest two-time NFL MVP winner ever.

I'm not taking a kid off a draft board because a kid 6'4" 250 & 35" arms can't bench...But It was disappointing. One of the better all around DE/OLB in this draft on tape. I guess you didn't see his interview on NFL network. Said the right things. I will wait for his Proday. If he does 20 reps & 4.7 his tape speaks for itself. 20 years old...Wow. His "explosion" was there before his hamstring tightened up...Top 5. Lower body power is there it seems. What it may do is put him more towards 3-4 OLB than 4-3 DE. I watched as much 2011 tape of him I could find at OLB. There is something there. What I don't like is a pick that won't contribute in 2013.

Not sure if I made this up myself or heard it somewhere, could be totally bogus, but did I hear Tomlin is not at the combine? Hopefully I just misheard something.....
