    I'd prefer Cotchery over Breaston.

Cotchery's $1.5m cap hit is troublesome, though, for a guy that sits 4th on the depth chart. If Breaston is willing to sign for Vet min + incentives, sure- sign him up & move Cotchery on.

For all the supossed leadership Cotchery was meant to bring, it sure didn't show up in the young WR's last season.
The people that are trying to make the world worse never take a day off, why should I?

    Light up the darkness.

It wouldn't be to replace Wallace's role as an outside burner but to help fill his production. Stick him in the slot.

Excluding his rookie season and last year (with a terrible couch and worse QB situation), Breaston has averaged 60 receptions a season, which is just above the 59 receptions per season that Wallace has averaged for his career. He's not going to have the yards and TD's (no one expects that) but he can help open the middle (hopefully with Heath coming back sooner rather than later) and best of all - his price tag is right , which is a drving factor right now. Also, he wants to play for Pittsburgh. Could certainly use a little fire these days.

I haven't seen a whole lot of Breaston, but he does have a higher career YPC than Cotchery. He's also closer to his most recent relevant season (2011 vs. 2009).

I like Cotchery, but he seems to be a pure possession receiver. Breaston seems like he may be a bit more of a threat out of the slot, but again, I say that without having watched him a lot.

Looks like Breaston has a lot of potential suitors:

Perhaps he won't be as cheap as we had hoped.
