    Two Cuts the Steelers May Have Interest in

    The Chiefs have released TE Kevin Boss and WR Steve Breaston. Neither player will be able to demand a large contract in my opinion. Breaston has Haley ties in both Arizona and KC. Kevin Boss may be the perfect stop gap during Heaths recovery. For the right money I would consider either one or both.

    forgive me for not getting excited about a couple of washed up chiefs.

    I hear ya. Im not saying either are the "answer". But keep in mind both played for a dreadful offense with a terrible QB. Breaston excelled in Haleys offense, and Kevin Boss was a solid TE when he played with Eli. If you could get them via a cap friendly deal, that frees the Steelers up to focus their draft picks on rebuilding an aging defense.

    Fred Davis is a FA...depending upon his recovery, I'd definitely give him a look at TE...

    I would be happy to land Cooley if he was cheap. If Heath could go near seasons end, having Cooley and Heath would be appealing.
