What's Torturing You About Today's SuperBowl?

    1. Listening to Joe Flacco get accolades for winning the most games of any QB during the last 5 seasons. And listening to him talk about the SuperBowl victory like it's a foregone conclusion.

I'm more and more hoping of a SF win. I think I'd rather have SF tie us in SB wins and to see Lewis go out as a LOSER than to see them Rats win a SB.

I think the biggest hurt would be to see the Ravens win and Flacco win MVP. Something Ben hasn't accomplished yet.. Although, I still don't understand why he didn't win the MVP in the Cardinals game with that drive. I know Holmes had the great catch, but Ben led them down the field....

Plus Ben gave Santonio a second chance to make the TD catch after he missed the first.

Nantz and Sims are torturous. Hope the Ravens lose just to make them unhappy.

Maybe this will help make this fiasco more tolerable ...

Some of the worst tackling and secondary play I have seen by a defense by SF. Plus, either Bmore OL is that good, or SF's pass rush sucks, cause Flacco is barely getting dusted this game.

Jim Plunkett has a Super Bowl MVP award and Brett Favre does not.

Not only that, but both of Holmes' big plays on that drive wouldn't have been possible if not for Roethlisberger. The 40-yard catch-and-run wouldn't have been possible without Roethlisberger making Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie bite on a pump-fake to Mewelde Moore in the right flat and opening up a huge hole in the secondary. And the acrobatics in the end zone wouldn't have been possible if the ball wasn't thrown perfectly.

Of course, fans get to vote for the Super Bowl MVP, so that probably takes some of the shine off the award anyway. All the fans do anymore is vote for the QB of the winning team -- unless it's Roethlisberger. Six of the last seven Super Bowl MVPs have been QBs. Only one has been shut out. Guess who.
