...he would make an example of Bernard Pollard by suspending him for the Super Bowl...
Not that I think this will happen, or even should happen...
I have zero faith in Goodell's sincerity...

Why is that?
I know he should fine Tom Brady if he is going to fine Suh...
Pollard didn't do anything illegal. All is fair game on a RB

Here We Go Steelers, Here We Go...
Here We Go Steelers, Here We Go...!!!
I must of missed the hit you were talking about. I thought the only other H2H hit was Ray Lewis on Hernandez and on that it seemed Hernandez lowered his own head right into Lewis....not that it matters as we saw Colt McCoy do the same exact thing...lower his head by 2 feet so Harrison, aiming at his chest, ends up going H2H on him.
He is not concerned with player safety. He is concerned that people think he is concerned about player safety.

Goodell is concerned with whatever will prevent a lawsuit #1 and what the owners want #2
ours is not to wonder why just invert and multiply...
Pollard was flagged for an illegal hit on Welker in the 3rd quarter...then, he knocked Ridley out in the 4th...not that much different from what Harrison did against the Browns a few seasons ago..
On top of that, he was flagged (not fined!!) for an illegal hit on Reggie Wayne the previous week...
Goodell is not sincere about player safety...
