    Close close. But out nonetheless.
I think there are some issues to improve upon in the areas of leadership, discipline, and commitment to the common cause.

Or maybe if the Steeler defense didn't give up 34 points, 26 points, 20 points, 34 points, and 27 points to the lowly Raiders, Titans, Browns, Chargers, and Cowboys, this team might have made it to the playoffs?

This teams lack of success is not just on the offense. The defense was bad at all the wrong times as well.

$$$$$$. If this team only works on fixing the offense, it will be a mistake. We need improvement on offense, defense and special teams...as well as in leadership, coaching, and playcalling.

You're right in the sense that they had their worst games at the wrong times. Most people think in terms of "what have you done for me lately." It seemed like by the end of the season, the Defense was playing fantastically while the Offense flubbed.

Turnovers and Ben's inability to deliver in crunch time.

Really? You are pointing out the Browns game where we gave up 20 points as a defensive problem.

We turned the ball over 7 frickin times (I don't count the last play as a turnover) and you are blaming the defense for giving up 20 points. I consider that as the defense giving us a chance to win the game.

I love how some of you always point out the bad games the defense had and not the bad ones for the offense. How about the crap our offense dropped on the field in the Chiefs game, the Eagles game, the 1st Browns game, the 1st Ravens game and the 2nd Bengals game. Where the hell were they?

Finally, why the hell can't the offense hang a 40 spot on the lowly Cowboys and Chargers defense? Why is it always up to the defense to save the offense's bacon?
As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

    but Go Steelers!!!

    Really?

Raiders - defense generates a turnover early, offense later turns the ball over on the Steelers 30 yard line...the defense was not good that day, but the offense was hardly blameless...

Titans - Titans block a punt and recover on the Steelers 1 yard line...again, the defense was not good, but, again, special teams made the difference in that game...

Browns - 20 points to the Browns? After 8 turnovers? That's great!!! The defense even scored a TD that game...

Chargers - another case where the defense was not great, but the offense was not blameless...remember the lateral? Down 20-3 and after that it was 27-3...game over...

Cowboys - In the 4th quarter, Antonio Brown fumbles on the Steelers 38...in OT, Roethlisberger throws an INT that puts the Cowboys in FG range...defense not great, offense and special teams, hardley blameless...
