That group would make one heck of a football team all on their own. Yep, that is one stacked deck to have to go up against.

Jerry Rice at 39 and 40 had 1100 yard seasons with the Raiders.
In his last 4 seasons Bettis topped 900 yards ONCE, and in his last 8 seasons only averaged 4+ yards per carry ONCE.
Silly comparison.
The anti-Steelers bias will have Bettis and eventually Hines and Ben waiting as long as Demotti Dawson had to wait. It will always be harder for a Steeler to get in and therefore they will wait longer.
"My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"
@ Former Steelers Jerome Bettis and Kevin Greene made the cut to be among the finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame this year.
The guess here is that Bettis gets in and Greene does not.
When Bettis became eligible for the Hall of Fame, he did so in the same year as Marshall Faulk and Curtis Martin.
At that time, the pecking order among those backs ranked them Faulk, Martin, Bettis.
Faulk got in the first year, Martin the next. Now, it's Bettis' turn.
