If Roquan Smith falls to late teens, trade 1.28 & 2.60 to SEA for 1.18 & 4.120:
1.18 LB Roquan Smith
3.92 FS Jessie Bates
4.120 RB Royce Freeman
5.148 DT Ken Norton
5.165 TE Chris Herndon
7.220 WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling
7.246 OT Brett Toth
If not:
1.28 LB Leighton Vander Esch
2.60 C/G Billy Price
3.92 FS Jessie Bates
5.148 DT Ken Norton
5.165 TE Chris Herndon
7.220 RB Ito Smith
7.246 WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling
Rainey looked better in black & gold than he does in green & white...

Second time in a month he got in trouble with the law, after he came here with a checkered past. Dude needs to wake up to real life.
Vick Ballard was drafted 10 picks later and had 800+ yards this season.
Alfred Morris was 12 picks after Rainey.....

Oh, don't get it twisted--it is a moral thing. He wasn't cut due to his lack of performance on the field. You're right in the sense that, if he showed the potential of a young Marshall Faulk, he would still be on the Steelers. But don't downplay the moral stance the team is taking here. Rainey has talent. He is probably one of the 5 or 10 fastest players in the league... and he converts it on to the field. The team cutting him is no small sacrifice.
I know the bottom line is wins and losses, but I'm glad the team I root for places a premium on guys who act right.
