What are your thoughts on this Florida safety? Is he B & G material? A quick google shows he has decent height, speed & physically he looks like he come could up and stop the run. He looks like he could be a playmaker also.

He's a good player, I see him as very similar to Bob Sanders. Hopefully he can stay healthier than Sanders.
However, I like D.J. Swearinger or Philip Thomas in the 2nd. Elam will be a late 1st or early 2nd round pick. His size will hurt him, but damn he is a hammer.

Elam is a missile. He is a great nickel corner and can play either safety spot. In some ways, he reminds me of Troy.
I am not sure he is worthy of the 17 th pick. But, I think he is the best safety in this class.
