    Steelers 2013 opponents known

Posted by Teresa Varley on December 24, 2012

The Steelers now know who and where they will play next year, but won’t know the dates until the NFL announces the schedule normally sometime in April.

The Steelers will have home games in 2013 against Baltimore, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Buffalo, Miami, Chicago, Detroit and Tennessee.

They will be on the road against AFC North opponents Baltimore, Cincinnati, Cleveland, as well as New England, New York Jets, Green Bay, Oakland and Minnesota, which will be played in London.

In addition to games against all of the AFC East teams and all of the NFC North teams (plus the games within our division, obviously), Baltimore will get Denver and Houston, Cincy will get San Diego and Indy, and Cleveland will get K.C. and Jacksonville.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Doesn't look like any real exciting players coming to Pittsburgh next year. A rather drab looking home schedule. Detroit might be the most interesting to see with Megatron and Suh. Cutler's arm might be worth a looksee.

None of those games jump off the page as a must see home game.

Cutler has shredded the Steelers secondary in the past. The in-laws are huge Bears fans, could be a good game to get tics.
