Sad to hear that an undisclosed Kansas City Chiefs player committed suicide at their facility. Crazy.

Apparently Chiefs coaches tried to stop him but the player put a gun to his head and shot himself. He also shot his girlfriend before committing suicide.

Saw that early this morning. It was puzzling in the first report but at the end of it the report said it was related to an earlier shooting.

Then the light went on for me and it turned out to be correct. He had earlier shot and killed his girlfriend then went to the facility and shot himself. The player is still unknown until his family is notified it said but that should be out very soon now.

Agree. Another case of a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Prayers to the girlfriend, her family and the player's family.

The saddest part of the murder-suicide is that the couple had a child together. God bless that kid especially.

Even though Belcher's suicide happened right at Arrowhead Stadium (he apparently shot his girlfriend multiple times elsewhere), it looks like the NFL plans to go ahead and play a game there 24 hours later at that very site.
