    Did 49'ers sign Bowman to a lesser deal than Timmons received?

    NFL Network’s Albert Breer reports that Bowman’s new deal is worth $45.25 million in new money over five years, $25.5 million guaranteed.

    Timmons signed a six year deal for 50 million with 10 million dollar signing bonus. Not sure what total guarantees were.

    I would take Bowman over Timmons in a hot New York minute. Seems like they got very similar deals.
