With Batch missing both days of practice, we may have to roll with Mendenhall, Dwyer, Redman, and Rainey as our active RB's, and with Redman being healthier than Dwyer or Mendenhall at this point, ol' Redzone may be getting more carries than we'd expect.

If Woodley can't go, then I'd imagine Worilds would start (he seems to be better suited to Woodley's strong side OLB spot than Harrison's weak side OLB spot anyway), with Chris Carter as the primary back-up to both OLB spots.

If Sylvester can't go, we need to fill in another spot on special teams (and with Da'Mon Cromartie-Smith no longer on the active roster since Ta'Amu was reinstated from suspension), we may need to dress the human penalty flag DeMarcus Van Dyke once again.

If Roquan Smith falls to late teens, trade 1.28 & 2.60 to SEA for 1.18 & 4.120:

    1.18 LB Roquan Smith
    3.92 FS Jessie Bates
    4.120 RB Royce Freeman
    5.148 DT Ken Norton
    5.165 TE Chris Herndon
    7.220 WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling
    7.246 OT Brett Toth

    If not:

    1.28 LB Leighton Vander Esch
    2.60 C/G Billy Price
    3.92 FS Jessie Bates
    5.148 DT Ken Norton
    5.165 TE Chris Herndon
    7.220 RB Ito Smith
    7.246 WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling

Jonathan Dwyer has received comparison by some on the board to Jerome Bettis. Just wondering if anyone with ready access to stats can show the ratio of game missed due to injury of the Bus, and that of Dwyer, for some comparison. Seems to me that Bus was durable, and JD has been less so (at least at this early stage of his career).

Not looking to be critical of JD here ... appreciate his hard-running style, and want to see more of him.
