DJ, I thought from your title you were having post-menopausal issues, and I thought man he must have married old, but there's websites for that. Then I figured out what you meant, sorry!

In all seriousness, though - I had exactly the same problem. To fix it I just went to every page clickable I could find to empty that inbox (I'd empty it, then when I came back it said it was still full), and eventually the server relented and classified the inbox as truly empty. Not much help I guess, but it did eventually work for me.
