    No, but up until last year, he could throw to his defense and have his defense block for him. How else could you explain the defense being the only reason the Steelers have been perennial contenders?

    That stat is not listed because it hurts the agenda. Also, missing is STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE. What you will find is that Peyton Manning is playing elite against tough competition (As he has his whole career for the most part) Ben Roethlisberger is playing elite against subpar competition (Like he has his whole career. Its vs the tough competition where he has trouble). Lets view our Quarterbacks stats after we play 9 out of the next 11 games on our schedule (excluding browns). I have seen strides in Bens game but he has yet to face a top tier Defense. The Best Defense he faced was Denver (Ironically, his worst game of the season). His best games vs the Jets (Minus Revis) and a Bad Raider team.
