Would you like to see the Steelers hire him to be our DC?
Would you like to see the Steelers hire him to be our DC?
yup. bring in someone fresh.
He won't be fired, and the Steelers would never bring him in, and I don't like him nor do I think he is half as good as his brother or his Dad, I say no.
I don't have a problem with promoting from within. If Keith Butler gets promoted, then he'll have the freedom to tailor the defense his way. Dom Capers was taught by Dick LeBeau too, but does he run his defense the same way? No.
Pittsburgh, PA: City of Champions.
Half as good as his brother?
Seriously? Prior to this year, have you watched the Cowboys defense?
Tomlin: Let's unleash hell and "mop the floor" with the competition.
Rex may have too big of a personality to suit the Steelers.
I really don't want Rex to be fired. There's nothing quite like seeing one's chief divisional rival with a totally dysfunctional front office and coaching staff, and a steadily regressing talent level among the players.
Reminds me of the Browns vis-a-vis the Steelers.
If Rex Ryan were the D.C., then we'd have to release Larry Foote (too distracting for the big fella and his fetish).
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
I would agree to a certain extent, but many thought the same thing about Todd Hailey.
