Oh, I'm not quite as far down the road of despair as you are; I don't think it's "hopeless" with 2 minutes, needing a score, and the ball in Ben's hands (after all, he pulled out the win against the Eagles just a week ago). BUT it sure doesn't seem like Ben is as CLUTCH as he was a couple of years ago. I think the statistics for game-winning drives would bear out that feeling.
Understand, I'm not putting the lion's share of the blame for last night's game on Ben. The defense sucked, the OL sucked, the run game sucked...and there was some poor play calling and coaching decisions. Pretty hard to win with all that. But Ben left some big plays out on the field, missing open guys in big situations, and those plays easily could have made the difference in the game. I don't think it has anything to do with losing his "killer instinct." But I do worry that he may have lost his "clutch instinct."
