    Ryan Clark

Now I am not the biggest Clark fan but I do notice a drop in productivity in his absence. Has anyone seen any stats on our defense WITH him vs without him?

that's because Ryan Mundy starts in Ryan Clark's absence, we really need to address the safety position early in next year's draft.

Ryan Clark always drove me nuts b/c he's more interested in taking someone's head off instead of going for a pick.
BUT, I see you have to take the bad with the good and I was nervous without him in there the other night. He really allows Troy to be Troy.

We have the next Ryan Clark on our team, his name is Robert Golden. What we need is the next Troy Polamalu.

There is no next Troy Polamalu. There has never been anyone quite like him before in NFL history, and I don't foresee anyone quite like him on the horizon (unless perhaps Paisios Polamalu or Ephraim Polamalu develop into football players like their father...Paisios is already starting to grow the hair...Ephraim not so much just yet).

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I thought for sure there would be no 2nd coming of Greg Lloyd until James Harrison came along.
But you're probably right....i say the same thing. Never been a Troy before, will never be a Troy again. Kinda like Chuck Norris.

You of course right, but you still have to draft a stud playmaker for the secondary at some point.
