At work, so can't see the youtube.

But I agree with you, we can look to the past for a preview of the next four years: continued improvement in the economy and jobs being the big thing. Also it never hurts to have allies overseas: Operation Piss Off the Planet didn't seem to pan out very well as a National Foreign Policy Doctrine over the previous eight years, so why not see if another approach might work.

But all that doesn't matter - it's not an election between O'bama and **Ideal Candidate Name Here**. The guy he's running against is a spineless jelly-knee'd clown who won't say what he will do if elected because he's afraid he's going to lose someone's vote. His foreign policy? ... he said and thinks Russia is our biggest geopolitical enemy (hello, Iran!). And he's the original Dr. Scholl: he flip flops so much in search of votes, on every side of every issue so many times (think: health care - he didn't mention ONCE in his speech about being Governor of Massachusetts - hmm, maybe his support of the individual mandate had something to do with that? ; abortion - against it before he was for it when running against Kennedy in Mass., before he was against it again ... the press in Massachusetts said he wasn't "pro-choice" then as much as "multiple choice" ; immigration; even whether going after Osama Bin Laden would be the right thing to do, etc., etc.) ... he makes John Kerry look like he should be on Mount Rushmore! And not even mentioning our troops fighting and dying in Afghanistan during his acceptance speech ... huh?? Oh well, as long as he promises to keep "In God We Trust" on the coins, there's no reason to vote for the Left Handed Kenyan Socialist Devil Worshipper ( http://www.theonion.com/articles/obama-help-us-destroy-jesus-and-start-a-new-age-of,29478/ ).

Anyway, I'd gladly vote against O'bama in favor of a better candidate, but somehow one never did materialize in 2012. A vote for the other guy now would be like voting for some weird, bizarre, and alien combination of George W. Bush, Mr. Roboto, and Hank Williams, Jr.

Besides, if Mr. Rooney is for O'bama, that's good enough for me!

I wouldn't say our foreign policy has gotten any better. Obama is a product of the war machine as much anyone else. Regardless of the outcome of the race Goldman Sachs still wins. Our unemployment rate doesn't account for people who have been unemployed for so long that they either gave up or can no longer collect. Inflation is calculated using everything but energy and food, which everyone uses everyday.
Both guys approve of the NDAA
both guys are in favor of socialized medicine.
both guys are in favor of perpetuating war.
These guys agree on every single decision that the president has any control over.

I'd gladly vote against Obama if there was someone to vote for.

How in the world he ended up running against the only unlikeable Mormon in the history of the world is crazy.

Both parties are completely out of touch. The Republican party is by far the more lost of the 2. And that's what's really propping up this joke of a president. Seriously, this election should have been the biggest landslide victory in the history of elections. But the party is so lost, we have Romney who will probably end up seeing the complete opposite result.

The biggest issue is Americans have lost their freedom completely over the last several years. We're saddled with debt. The Fed has completely fudged up the financial markets. We're owned by the gov't who is owned by China. I'm not sure any president could fix what ails us. The problem is we're a bunch of idiots.

People worship political candidates like they're athletes or something I think we're getting close to the point that a brand should just run for President. Pepsi vs Apple.

It's all crappy marketing hype and fortunately for the parties, America is filled with suckers lining up to buy their junk.

God bless you Birt. People like you, who really sees what's _really_ happening in the world, give me hope - not in a large way - but some hope none the less. I mean, when I see those who took an oath to defend the US Constitution sign bills into laws that flagrantly go against the very heart and soul of the USC, disgusts me greatly. In reality, those signing bills that directly oppose the USC, after taking an oath to defend it, from enemies both foreign and domestic, should be brought up on traitor charges. Why not?

Yeah! Our past is part of our history. As we look on the past and have a preview of Obama's leadership, we can weigh his achievements and if he had gone great things for the government the the people or if more people still suffered a lot from recession.

I'm excited about the possibility of another 4 years! Repubs and Romney looking at the economy and blaming Obama is like an arsonist torching his house and blaming the firemen -- who against all odds save the house -- for smoke damage.

Or blaming that Captain Scully who landed the plane in the middle of the Hudson for getting the luggage in the hold wet!

The real question is - do you want 4 more years of Obama, or 4 more years of the policies that he took over and saved us from?

When we argue amongst ourselves about the differences in two yubs who are running for puppetident of the United States...they win. And when I say them...I'm refering to the real people who make the political decisions...ie the financial sector. Elections are merely distractions. Democracy is an illusion.
Trolls are people too.
