Wonder if they disagreed on who the PK should be. Hrapmann has looked good on FG's and kickoffs.

Pittsburgh will always be Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood...not Captain Kangaroo's.

Seriously, though...it is interesting that Amos Jones survived the Bob Ligashesky era and now the Al Everest era.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I swear I was thinking the same thing when I saw his picture on PFT. When you put them side-by-side, not so much.

I grew up watching Captain Kangaroo on TV but I am amazed at just how creepy he looks in that picture...even by 1970's standards.

With all apologies for kick a man while he's down, I think Al's picture also adds a little credence to my porn crack. He just has that perverted look in his eyes.

I think it might have something to do with the fact that you cannot tell whether or not the Captain actually has ears or not. Has to be one of the most unique haircuts in TV history...

I wonder if Amos Jones has ever worn Green Jeans or talked to a Moose?

Countin' flowers on the wall, that don't bother me at all
Playin' solitaire 'til dawn, with a deck of fifty-one
Smokin' cigarettes and watchin' Captain Kangaroo
    Now don't tell me
    I've nothin' to do
