I've met several of the folks from the board in person at games (Asian, costanza, SN1, Jiga, MJG, stlrz_d, Iron Shiek, NCSteelerfan, SanAntonioSteelerFan, AkronSteel, Columbussteelerfan, among others)...all are respectful on the board, and are good people in person. I've even met some Sirius NFL Radio guys like the Commish (Brandon from Missouri) and the Big Fella (Adrian from the Burgh) at games. I always wondered what it would be like if someone who is known for douchebaggery on the board just randomly showed up to one of our tailgates in person.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Haven't been to Heinz Field for any games yet, but I did see Ben (finally) and company play in Detroit in 2009. Doubtful that I can make a game this year, but we'll see. I'll let all yinz know if I can.

Didn't Crash show up to one of these events a few years back? I seem to remember a picture with him and a couple of other board members in it.

Sorry about that...must have you confused with someone else...He's from Columbus (at least I thought so), and I met him and his wife at two PlanetSteelers tailgates. He watched the game from up on the veranda ramps with me and Jigawatts...Jiga, who am I thinking of? I'll have to see if I can dig up an old picture of us all.

I thought the guy in the Deebo jersey was ColumbusSteelerFan (not the guy in the Silverback throwback...that's cos2k1). His wife is next to him in the gold sweatshirt. What was his name on the board...it had to be something close to ColumbusSteelerFan, no?
