yeah, those 18 catches for 154 yards and zero TDs Mendy caught out of the backfield last season really kept opposing defenses guessing...

They used Mendy to block at times. The OL was so bad that often when they threw in the red zone they had Mendy/Moore and Heath Miller as side car blockers.

Mendenhall had NINE TD's last season in 15 games, ALL of which, were in the red zone.

What does it matter how he gets in? If it was 5 rushing and 4 receiving it's still the same 9.

Cutting Urbik was a real headscratcher. With the sorry state of our OL at the time, how could the coaching staff possibly mis-evaluate Urbik that badly? Maybe the light didn't turn on for Urbik until it was too late, but we have kept lesser Olinemen for longer, waiting on their game.

Not to mention that Redman actually has more career receiving TDs than Mendenhall (2-1).

in the end, if DeCastro pans out, it's a good thing to have given up on Ubrik... we might have passed on Decastro.. just sayin...

Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, hear the lamentations of their women.

Logan did not come out of the draft. He was from the CFL.

2009 was a successful draft. 5 players are still in NFL and add Redman to it.

A pro-bowl WR. in Mike Wallace.

Cb on the cusp of becoming a starter. Keenan Lewis.

D-lineman who is struggling to hold his spot.Ziggy Hood.

Starter for Bills at OG who was cut by us. Kraig Ubrik.

    Starting RB. Redman.

Now 2008 was a disastrous draft.
    Steelers Draft
Rd 1: Mike Evans - WR
    Rd 2: Kyle Van Noy - ILB/OLB
Rd 3c: Philip Gaines - CB
Rd 4: Taylor Hart - DE
Rd 5: Justin Ellis - DT
    Rd 5c:Xavier Grimble -TE
