The next two weeks are the last chance for anyone involved in the NFL to squeeze in any vacation, before the long grind of the season begins.

Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco’s going to have a little extra time off.

The Joe Flacco Passing Academy, which was originally scheduled for today and tomorrow, has been cancelled according to Ravens officials.

They cited “unresolved student-athlete compliance and NFL guideline details,” according to Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times.

Flacco was going to be there, along with backup Tyrod Taylor, offensive coordinator Cam Cameron and quarterbacks coach Jim Caldwell. Now, they’ll all have the weekend off, giving Flacco the chance to rest what could be the strongest arm in the league.
