I just took a Wonderlic

I just had a job interview today. Everything was going well. Then, out of the blue, he said he had a test he wanted me to take. He put it on the desk and...it was a Wonderlic test. I couldn't stop smiling. For those of you that don't know the Wonderlic test is a 12 minute, 50 question test that is supposed to judge cognitive ability. It is given to all of the football players at the NFL combine.

Here are the average scores per position:

§ Offensive tackle – 26
§ Center – 25
§ Quarterback – 24 (Most teams want at least 21 for a quarterback.)[8]

§ Halfback – 16

Also, here are the averages for some professions:

§ Historian – 36
§ Chemist – 31
§ Programmer – 29
§ Journalist – 26
§ Sales – 24
§ Bank teller – 22
§ Clerical worker – 21
§ Security guard – 17
§ Warehouse worker – 15

So, I had no idea this test was coming. I also am fairly anti-math (there are some math questions on the test). The test was interesting, as it contained at least one question that I don't even think had a right answer. I'm supposed to get a call later from the guy about the job. I'll let you guys know how I did.

(Honestly, I'm still laughing about it. I was like "Wtf? A Wonderlic? BRING THAT @#%$ on!" haha)

Were you able to finish all 50 questions in those 12 minutes?
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I skipped the questions I found difficult or strange and then went back to them, but was unable to finish them all. I'd say I left 5 or 6 blank.

Still haven't heard back from the guy. As opposed to him not thinking me right for the job, I'm going with the theory that my score was so high that it literally blew his brain out of his head. I *am* going to call him tomorrow and tell him that regardless of whether or not I get the job I want to know how I did on that damn test lol.

I had to take one for a statistics class I took a while back. Got a 35, that being said I was lucky, didnt finish all the quesitons. Some questions were very easy, some was suprisingly difficult. It does make me question how some people (Vince Young, Chris Leak) got through a couple years of college
