    Two questions for you.
1.) If Ben is as bad as you seem to maintain, why is he considered a top tier Q-Back, by most current NFL players, Coaches, News Media sites such as SIRIUS NFL and the NFL Network, not just "Roethlisberger Disciples"? For me I could see how finishing 12 & 4 tied with our hated rival Baltimore, and yet another playoff appearance could look bad.
2.) More importantly who would you get to replace him? We are not going to draft high enough for anyone in the draft that’s worth a darn (sorry we didn't suck for Luck), and players like Matt Flynn are probably going to be sucked up by teams who need them more (Miami, etc.). Please don't come back and say Dixons the future, he a good backup but not much more....

Lord almighty, you folks act like Ben body slammed the Ambassador. He was asking questions about the direction the owner wants to go and said he will make it his responsibility to make it happen. Oh no.. how terrible!

He doesn't need to be a subservient "yes man". We need a leader that will execute the front office/coaches plans and deliver another Lombardi.

RB, you are usually spot on with your pop culture references. But I would have gone Uncle Rico with this one. Just sayin'

Uncle Rico is Tim Tebow with an arm that can throw footballs over mountains.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

"When I get back I'm going to go up to Mr. Rooney's office and ask him what he wants from me, what he wants from this offense, because I think that's a viable question for him," Roethlisberger said Thursday in an exclusive interview with the Tribune-Review following a light Pro Bowl practice. "He's our owner and our boss, so I really would like to know kind of what he wants and where he sees our offense going because I'd like to tell him where I see us going."

    There, is the dig folks.

I think you could chose to see this as conflict OR see it as collaboration.

There are some serious drama kings on this board.

LISTEN to what Ben said and then tall me if you still think he is being defiant.

And the problem is the likelihood of people to make their own inferences and project their own feelings and perceptions onto the written word...

That's the only way that the print media stays afloat...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

That is the most ignorant statement I've heard in a long time. Santonio didn't go out the door for his comments, he went because he was a druggie that showed no desire to change. Has Ben made mistakes? Certainly. Has he shown a desire to change? Yes. Has he learned from his mistakes? It seems to me he has. Has Santonio done the same? HELL NO. So, don't equate the two. You're comparing apples to oranges.

No he isn't... both guys did a great job putting our franchise in a negative light. Ben could've easily been shipped out along with Holmes and most fans would understand why. Not saying they would like it but they would understand why.

Holmes may be a "druggie" but Ben isn't called rapistburger" because it sounds funny...
I lost a bet about Najee gaining 1300 yards.

"Our head coach has failed to win a playoff game for seven years in a row. His game day strategy, culture of divas, in game decisions, clock management, player evaluation, hires, and affinity with sub par starters at RB, P, and OL are holding the Steelers back. That standard remains the standard"
