1.31 Derek Sherrod OT
2.31 Davon House CB
3.31 Chimdi Chekwa CB
4.31 Jerrell Powe NT
5.31 Mario Harvey ILB
6.31 Da-Rel Scott RB
7.31 Jarriel King OT
Overall, I think that would be one hell of a draft.

I'll take it right now, thank you.
Sign me up.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
Steel Maniac's Time-Based Prediction: Lamar Jackson will be a bust and total flop in the NFL.
What Actually Happened: Lamar Jackson became the youngest two-time NFL MVP winner ever.

Change Davon House to Kenrick Ellis: DL
Change Chimdi Chekwa to Johnny Patrick: CB
Change Jerrell Powe to Austin Pettis: WR
Change Mario Harvey to the 6th round, cause he will be there.
In the 5th round take Cortez Allen: CB
Change Jarriel King..cause he won't last that long...to Mark Legree: FS
Yeah...other than those relatively minor changes you suggest, it's perfect, right?Originally Posted by insanesteelersfan
So, in other words, scrap the entire draft and start again from scratch!

Because you suggested SIX changes in a SEVEN round draft.Originally Posted by insanesteelersfan

I'm not saying I love every pick but look at our roster post draft:
Starks-Kemo-Pouncey-Colon-Sherrod (cut Adams 5 mil, sign Ike or FA) (Scott-Scott-Legursky-Foster)
Wallace-Sanders-Ward (Brown, Sweed)
Miller (Spaeth, Johnson)
Mendenhall (Redman, Dwyer, Scott "returning kicks")
Roethlisberger (Leftwich, Batch)
[That's not bad on offense.]
Hood-Hampton-Keisel (Smith, Powe, Hoke, Eason)
Woodley-Timmons-Farrior-Harrison (Worilds, Sly, Harvey, Foote)
Taylor(or FA)-House-Polamalu-Clark (Butler, Chekwa, Lewis, Mundy, Allen/Cromartie, Warren/McFadden/Gay)
[That's a solid defense, aside from the obvious uncertainty at CB. Then again, it's time we let our young corners play and see what we've got, so there's going to be growing pains there anyway. They couldn't be worse than McFadden, Gay, and Madison.]
