This is my favorite quote from their game thread. If you haven't taken the time to go through that game thread, you really should, not one comment about football or even the game really. All they did was b1tch about the refs, Tomlin, Flacco, Cam Cameron, Boldin, Housh, etc...wash, rinse, repeat...F'ing awesome.

I recall times like that with the Steelers. Gads, there was that one year not too long ago when I dreaded 3rd and long. 3rd and 2 the Steelers would stop them everytime because the opponent would try to run and the run defense was stout. But if could be 3rd and 30 and our secondary would consistently choke it up. It didn't matter what the score was or what the down and distance was it constantly felt like the Steelers were losing. I think it was the year the Raiders went to the Super Bowl ...

Yeah, that was 2002... the stat guys would always bring up Cowher's 100 - 1 - 1 or whatever record when leading by 10 or more in a game - the tie was that year's Falcons game when Michael Vick converted four 3rd or 4th and 15 or longer plays to close a 17 point deficit and tie it at 34... we finished 10 - 5 - 1, and would've had the #1 seed and home field if we'd gone 11 - 5, like the Raiders and Titans that year. That was the year that weak @$$ Tampa Bay team scored their only ring... and we beat them down in their building week 16 that year. If we could've managed one freaking stop in long yardage that game, we'd be playing for 8 right now.

28. Real perspective: On Monday evening I got a call that my father was in the hospital after suffering a heart attack. I enjoyed this victory against the Ravens. But even more I enjoyed spending yet another Sunday afternoon in front of the television with my brother-in-law, my nephews, my brother and my hero: the person that taught me how to be a Steelers fan. Love you dad.
